There was nothing I didn't like.

We stayed at a stunning guesthouse with an incredible view of a nearby river. the room was simple but spacious with everything tastefully decorated and furnished. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. the guided tour of the brewery was excellent, and we enjoyed the boat ride through the gorge. Secure bike storage was available for our convenience.

There were some restrictions on check-in and check-out times, which was a bit inconvenient.

We had a wonderful stay at St. Georg in Weltenburg. The monastery's historical charm and beautiful baroque style were enchanting. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Breakfast with Pater Stephan and other interesting guests was a highlight. We can't wait to return with our whole family.

Stayed during Easter. Beautiful view of the river from our window, and the guided tour of the brewery was very informative. Enjoyed the peace and quiet once the day visitors left. The beer garden was a perfect spot for enjoying a cold beer on a sunny day.

The restaurant/beer garden had an early closing time and we had to rush to order a meal. It was a bit far from other restaurants in the area, so we had to plan our meals accordingly.

Great beer and solid German food on the platz. Free breakfast offered with the stay which was pretty good. the location was a key aspect as it was right on the river and had a boat trip through the gorge available. It was very peaceful in the evening once the day visitors left and the overnight stay was quite quiet.

No ATM available in town so it would have been better to bring cash for the onsite restaurant or beer garden. the restaurant and beer garden closed fairly early in the evening and if you didn't arrive by a certain time, ordering a meal would not have been possible.

This hotel is a hidden gem with a fantastic location right by the Danube river. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. I especially enjoyed taking the ferry from the nearby dock, just like the locals do. And the world-famous monastery brewery is a must-visit!
